Get Reel Films wins grant

Get Reel Films would like to say a very big thank you to everyone who supported us and voted over the last couple of weeks on the Suncorp bank back to business site. You helped keep us in the top ten for the first two weeks of the competition and then today I received the call from Suncorp informing me that Get Reel Films had been selected as one of this weeks winners.

The grant will go a long way in helping us to get locally made projects in front of an international audience over the coming months.

We especially want to say thanks to Suncorp bank for running this scheme and supporting businesses like ours who are rebuilding from the January floods. There are still plenty of deserving businesses out there so log onto the site below and vote for your favourite.

'Chris Duke & the Royals' Music video

Get Reel Films would like to thank everyone for yesterdays music video shoot. We rocked it on a sunny, sweaty rooftop car park in West End with Sydney band 'Chris Duke & the Royals'.

'Chris Duke & the Royals' were in Brisbane supporting 'Streetlight Manifesto' at 'The Zoo' friday night then were off to perform on the Gold Coast saturday night after filming with us all day. Despite this hectic schedule the guys put in a high energy performance for the shoot, guided by the videos director Wade Higgins.

If you're a fan of a Ska/Punk/Rock check these guys out.

'Still Waters' publicity shoot.

With 'Still Waters' just weeks away from it's Cannes screening in the Marche du Film, Get Reel Films did a little publicity shoot today with one of the films stars John Maila.

Here's a sneak peak.

John recently got this tattoo done by 'Big El, Samoan Freestyle Tattoo' while in Samoa after filming wrapped on 'Still Waters'.
