Meisha Lowe's first TV role.

Screening tonight on Channel 9 at 8:30pm is 'Underbelly Infiltration' featuring one of favourite actresses Meisha Lowe. Tune in and check it out.

We first met Meisha on a music video shoot where she showed up three hours early for a minor role. Her eagerness was to pay off however. When the lead actress cancelled last minute Meisha confidently stepped up to take the lead. Her work ethic that week impressed us so much that she has since been featured as 'Kim' in 'Still Waters' and as 'Cindy Spencer' in 'Trente Cinq'.

A great hardworking and good humoured actress. Wish her the best of luck tonight and look forward to seeing more from her in the future.

Flood recovery

Almost a month now since the floods hit and Brisbane is beginning to return to normal.

It is still strange however to see pockets of flood affected homes and businesses all through the city that are struggling to recover.

Around West End where we are based all the businesses, and cafes on the high ground are bustling with life while others just meters away lay dormant, temporarily abandoned as owners struggling with the ongoing clean up.

As for Get Reel Films our original base is still undergoing repairs so we have relocated temporarily to another part of the building, however due to ongoing issues, including a faulty hot water cylinder wish caused us to be flooded again over the weekend, we may soon be relocating.

I will notify everyone if there a change of address.

In the meantime the latest on 'Still Waters' and 'Tin God' though they have been delayed due to the flood they are now progressing so keep an eye out for updates.

I would like to thank all those who offered support and assistance during the flood and I look forward to working with you all again soon.
